What do you "coach about" as a Holistic Health Coach? (HHC)




As a Holistic Health Coach and graduate from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. I am familiar with over 100 different dietary theories and also how to understand what your body is telling you and use nutrition to nourish your unique body. Don't panic! You don't need to learn all that! For those that work with me on nutrition... I focus on helping you create food you will actually like and that will help you reach your health goals at the same time. A big part of food and what helps make changes possible is also how your life as a whole nourishes you. In my training with IIN, we learn to coach people on 12 different life areas. This is the Holistic part! It turns out that looking at the whole picture of what is going on in these 12 areas can help you make positive changes with a much higher success rate. And weirdly, this actually helps with making habit changes and eating better and losing weight and a number of other things. Balance is a door-opener for positive change. But to find your balance, you need to get a lay of the land and see what is going on for yourself. I help you get that view. Then I help you plan out a series of things to try to further support the specific shifts that you discover you want. It's an amazing process. What are these 12 areas? Why Do They Matter?

These areas are all important because they are all big parts of what can Nourish Your Life. When people are nourished in these areas in a balanced way it becomes easier to make positive changes ...in nutrition also! And you might need something other than nourishment in nutrition. I can help you make that assessment yourself and give you a chance to see what needs changing to create that balance with greater clarity so you can be more successful.


Depending on which area(s) needs balance most and helps you reach your goals your program will be customized toward that end. I have hundreds of handouts resources, and specific trainings based on what actually works to help people make shifts in each of these areas. SO it's Holistic, but also very customized and specific to you. This is how I start. We measure your balance before and after the program to see how you have improved. And I customize the coaching program specifically to you and the goals you have..
